To play the BPO II qualifiers, just open up the lobby in the Bodog Poker Room and go to "Scheduled Tournaments". There you'll find a tab called "BPO" - click on that to register for the Bodog Poker Open Main Event.

These fantastic new features include:
Auto Top-Up
You can now automatically top up your chips in cash game. You can configure the reload option to suit your style of play.
New "DeepStack" cash tables
You can play these on the following buy in limits: €0.25/€.50 to €2/€4. The buy-in for these tables is a minimum of 100x the Big blind BB and maximum 200x the Big Blind.
New Bet Slider
You can now customise the bet slider to your needs. You will be able to set and save slider profiles based on different parameters including, game type, game limit and raise by, to and total. Access the Bet Slider configuration settings from either the Lobby or from the game.
To access the Bet Slider from the Lobby, players must:
1. Select the Preferences button from the Menu bar.
2. Select Global Table Options.
3. Select Bet Slider from the drop-down list.
To access the Bet Slider from within the game, Players must:
1. Select the Menu button, in the top right hand corner of the window. The menu is displayed.
2. Select the Options option. The Poker Table Options dialog box is displayed.
3. Select the Bet Slider tab.
5-minute Sit Out Time
You can now sit out of the action on full tables for five minutes. This replaces the previous system that was based on Big Blinds.
Survivor Tournaments
Survivor tournaments are a new type of tournament. At set times during a Survivor tournament a percentage of players with the smallest chip stacks are removed from the tournament. These tournaments are fast paced and have a fixed duration. This is an ideal tournament format for players that have limited time.
"Double Up" Sit 'n Go tournaments
Finish in the top 5 on the table to get double your buy-in back! Available now in under 'Sit 'n Go' in the poker software, called: 'Double Up 10 Seat'.
Improved Waiting List
You can now get seated quicker. If you are third on the waiting list and three seats become available, you no longer have to wait for the other two players to make their decision. Simply pick your seat and play.
Double Buy-Ins for re-buy Multi-Table Tournaments
You can choose to double your chips before a tournament starts by selecting the Double Buy-in checkbox from the Join Tournament dialog box.

Last Chance to Qualify For 2009 WSOP Through Bodog Poker
The last chance to qualify for the 2009 WSOP Main Event through Bodog Poker takes place this Sunday at 4:35pm ET. The Main Event Semifinal will guarantee four $12,000 WSOP prize packages into the 2009 Main Event.
Satellites for the Semifinal start for as little as $1 and run multiple times daily between now and Sunday. Players can get started halfway up the ladder in a Main Event Quarterfinal several times today and tomorrow, or just go ahead and buy directly into the Main Event Semifinal for $270.
The $12,000 WSOP prize package not only includes the $10,000 buy-in for the 2009 WSOP Main Event and $2,000 for travel to and accommodation in Las Vegas, but winners will also receive one of the legendary Bodog gear packages with some of the industry's best apparel and accessories, as well as access to an exclusive Bodog event.

A Lot Is Going On At The 2009 WSOP Right Now Bodog poker pro Justin Bonomo was out in the field in one of the many tournaments being held at the 2009 WSOP today. (Bodog Beat Image)
Sweet poker gods, there's a lot going at the Rio right now. A total of five events are in different stages of play throughout the many event rooms here, and the crowds, yelling and sound of shuffling chips is now almost overwhelming as we start to wrap up Day 37,654 of the 2009 WSOP (wait, made that joke already).
Here are some of the more salient details from those five events, or what we could pick up while running around trying to take photos and keep track of everything:
$1,000 No Limit Holdem - The monstrous starting field of 6,012 has now been narrowed down to the paltry nine players who will make up the final table. Dan Heimiller is currently the chip leader for this event, followed by the only notable player left in the running, Steve Sung. The final table will get underway at 2pm Vegas time tomorrow, and they will play down until they award the $770k first-place prize.
$1,500 Pot Limit Omaha - To be honest, we're not entirely sure we knew that this event was going on. However, they are down to 12 players out of a starting field of 809 with two well-known players still in the field, Dario Alioto and Jason Mercier. Top prize is $237,415 and will be awarded at some point tomorrow, we think.
$10,000 Seven Card Stud - Still 14 players left out of 142 and several well-known players, including Daniel Negreanu, Greg "FBT" Mueller, Max Pescatori, Mel Judah and Jeff Lisandro. They will play down to a nine-person final table tonight and will award the $373,744 first-place prize tomorrow.
$1,500 No Limit Holdem - An astounding 2,791 players turned out for this event and the field shed most of them pretty rapidly, narrowing down to only 338. We'd let you knwo who the chip leaders are except that PolerNews cut back on their budget by eliminating Day 1 chip counts, so….. yeh. We can tell you that Bodog poker pros Evelyn Ng and Justin Bonomo were out in the field, but fell victim to the quality of play one only finds in WSOP donkaments and your cousin's home game. However, we're pretty sure that by tomorrow Evy will have purchased a Vespa, so there's always that. We'll have to see if we can get a ride on it and maybe some video, hmmmm.
$2,500 No Limit Deuce to Seven Draw - Another event that completely snuck up on us, and by "snuck up on us" we mean another event that could've finished up without us noticing if we hadn't heard someone mention it. Looks like it snuck up on some others as well as there were only 147 players registered and only 56 players remaining. As it is Day 1 of this event, and factoring in PokerNews' aforementioned reticence when it come to Day 1 chip counts, we can tell you that there are some players with names left competing for the top prize of more than we make in a year.
